Call for Abstracts: The 15th International Kawasaki Disease Symposium (IKDS 2027)
We are pleased to announce that The 15th International Kawasaki Disease Symposium
will be held from February 15 (Mon) to 18 (Thu), 2027, at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City,
Japan).
We have officially opened the call for abstracts and look forward to your submissions.
Please note that simultaneous English-Japanese interpretation will be provided for all oral presentations.We cordially invite you to submit your work and join us at the symposium.
Abstract Submission Period: June 3 (Wed) – July 31 (Fri), 2026 (JST)

In 2024, the 14th IKDS was held in Montréal, Canada. This marked the 40th anniversary of the first IKDS that took place in Hawaii in 1984. This meeting is a wonderful tradition, bringing our Kawasaki disease (KD) community together every three years to advance the science of KD and honor the late Dr Tomisaku Kawasaki.
